Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • Juice of 1/2 Lemon
  • 1 tbsp Freshly grated ginger (or 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger)
  • 1 tbsp Honey (optional)
  • 1 cup Warm water (not boiling)

Instructions
 

  • Heat the water until warm but not boiling.
  • Stir in the apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, and ginger.
  • Add honey if desired, and stir to combine.
  • Mix well and sip slowly.

Notes

  • Start with small amounts of ACV if you’re new to it, as it can be harsh on the stomach.
  • A spoonful of chia seeds for added fiber and omega-3s, which can also help manage blood sugar levels for type 2 diabetes pacients.
  • If you don’t like the taste of ginger, reduce the amount.
  • Want it colder? Try adding ice or making it the night before and refrigerating.
  • If you like mint, toss in a few leaves for a refreshing twist.
